THE IMPORTANCE OF ARABIC LANGUAGE:

Arabic language is one of the oldest languages on earth. Despite the variation between the researchers about the age of this language, we can say that with no doubt the Arabic language that we are using today had more than one thousand and six hundred years. And Allah (May He Be Glorified) has granted to protect this language until the Day of Judgment. Allah says: (It is We who send down the Quran and We surely will guard it from any corruption).

Since the early Islamic era, the Arabic language has spread out to all over the world and reached where the Islam reached. It was connected to the Muslim's life and become the language of knowledge, art, politics and civilization in addition to religion and worship. The Arabic language was able to assimilate the other civilizations; Arabic, Greek, Persian and Indian that were existing during that time and made from all of them one universal civilization for the first time in history. On the light of the Holy Quran, the Arabic language became a universal language and mother language for many countries.

The importance of the Arabic language is based on many factors. The most important factor is the close relation with Islam and Quran. Allah Has chosen this language from all other languages to be the language of His great book (Quran) and reveal His last message. Allah says: (Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran in order that you may understand).

One important factor for learning Arabic language is that Arabic language is the key to Islamic & Arabic culture. As it will enable the learner to open his eyes on great quantity of civilization and intellect for a nation sat on the world throne for many centuries and left great civilized heritage in variety of art and science. Moreover, Arabic language is one of the greatest bonds between Muslims. The language is one of the important factors for the unity between societies. From this basis, the Islamic nation wanted to teach its language to all who are willing to study this language irrelevant of their color and nationalities. The Arabic language become not only a language for the Arabs only but has become universal language for millions of Muslims seeking to learn about their Islamic culture. In fact, we are seeing many non-Muslims are seeking to learn the language to be with contact with the language nation from one side and to communicate with the Arabic and Islamic heritage from the other side.
